Signs of Estrogen Dominance

Estrogen Dominance is a growing problem for men and women in the United States. With our use of chemicals in personal care products, household cleaning products and the food we eat, we are consuming what is known as xenoestrogens which are toxic to our system. With the growth hormones in our store bought milk we see female children developing breasts at a younger age, males reach puberty earlier.
Dr. Eldred Taylor in Atlanta has written several books on the subject and is currently seeking his Degree in the field of Naturopathic Medical Physician. His book titles included: "Estrogen Overload" and "Are Your Hormones Killing You". According to Dr. Eldred some of the signs include anemia and fibroid growths. He tells us that Hormone Replacement can make the problem worse and increase problems by 20-40%. He says that Estrogen overload can effect men as well which can cause Prostate cancer.
Some of the signs of Estrogen Overload/Dominance include:
tender breasts, uterine fibroids, hormonal headaches, fibrocystic breast disorder, clots, heavy bleeding, PMS, mood swings, osteoporosis, thin hair, migraines, depression, hot flashes, low sex drive to name just a few.
Realizing that today it is hard to avoid certain products but we can lessen our use of synthetic based products, read your labels. We can buy meat from a home rancher that does not use growth hormones. I have had some say that it is too expensive to buy organic or chemical free products, however if you consider how much it is going to cost you if you do get a disease related to synthetic chemicals what is the Doctor, hospital and treatment going to cost. We just need to be aware that there are simple things we can do everyday that will not cost of fortune. Change some products, eat a high fiber diet to help eliminations.
By taking supplements that contain phytoestrogen (natural plant estrogen) we are giving the receptor cites a natural usable estrogen. Our cells are complete and when an artificial substance or synthetic chemical enters our body it attaches to our complete cell, once attached now we have a mutated cell, thus causing abnormal growth. Parabens have been found in breast tissue, this is just one example of mutation.
To help balance hormone levels women can use products like progesterone creams, taking supplements of plant based phytoestrogens and men can use zinc and increase their testosterone levels. Relieve stress by learning to write in a journal which helps to eliminate thoughts from your subconscious, meditate if you can even if it is only for 15 minutes. Avoid putting your water or buying water in plastic bottles, use a reverse osmosis system in your home. Use natural cleaning products whenever possible.
Natural supplements are your best bet, your body knows how to use them and uses what it needs, in other words artificial chemicals, synthetics stay in the liver. Your liver does not recognize artificial and works harder to eliminate it. Female comfort supplement helps to support the reproductive system, Flash Ease has been a proven remedy for Hot Flashes and it is time released, GLA-Omega 6 provides support with breast tenderness, menopause and PMS, Natural Changes is prepackaged to support older women in premenopause and menopause and helps to balance hormones, DHEA-Female or DHEA-Male is produced by the adrenal glands and helps fight free radicals. Any of the products above you can read more about at http://www.sacredearthherbs.net.
Essential oils help as well. For women Clary sage, geranium, ylang ylang and for men pine. You can mix the above with a Fractionated coconut oil carrier and massage the body, you can add them to lotions, creams, body sprays or shampoo. Find personal care products that do not have artificial chemicals in them. You can use Aubrey Organics, MiEssence Certified Organcis, (http://www.sacredearthnaturals.com), Mountain Rose Herbs all of these companies offer solutions for a start in eliminating the toxic substances that are making us sick. I recommend Aubrey's book "What's in Your Cosmetics", it will make you think twice about what you put on yourself, your loved ones and your new babies. Babies are born with hundreds of chemicals already in their system absorbed by the mother during pregnancy.
Choose products wisely and have a better today and a healthy tomorrow.
